ENSolo exhibition, Lefebvre Park, LaSalle, Montreal, Canada
The Repères et fragments exhibition is made up of photographs showing my ambulatory appropriation of LaSalle's Dollard ave. from 2019 to 2021.
By trying to identify what my gaze walker lingered and the visual elements that I could grab, the markings on the ground caught my attention. Graphics, these signs which codify underground urban infrastructures punctuate the sidewalks. They intercept the gaze of the person attentive to their steps or appear on the sidelines of the screen of the one seeking orientation.
I documented these different marks on the sidewalk and tried to add my practice with a temporary and introspective marking dedicated to passers-by. The photographs displayed in this exhibition are taken from this double process.

Exposition individuelle, Parc Lefebvre, LaSalle, Montréal, Canada
L’exposition Repères et fragments est constituée de photographies témoignant de mon une appropriation déambulatoire de l’avenue Dollard de 2019 à 2021.
En tentant d’identifier ce sur quoi mon regard de marcheuse s’attardait de même que les éléments visuels dont je pouvais me saisir, les marquages au sol ont attirés mon attention. Graphiques, ces signes qui codifient les infrastructures urbaines souterraines ponctuent les trottoirs. Ils interceptent le regard de la personne attentive à ses pas ou s’affichent en marge de l’écran de celle qui cherche à s’orienter.
J’ai donc documenté ces différentes inscriptions au sol et tenté d’y inscrire ma pratique par un marquage éphémère et introspectif adressé aux passant-e-s. Les images présentées dans cette exposition sont tirées de ce double processus.
